Threefer

Three tunes, two boxes. I made these pieces over the summer on my Teenage Engineering OP-1 Field and OP-XY. I started to hear them as parts of the same thing. So I put them together.

A few other instruments found their way into the boxes: me playing acoustic guitar, my piano, and… wait for it… an egg shaker. Some wood, strings, and things rattling around among the electronics.

What you hear is what came out of the machines. Mixing, panning, compression—all done inside those two boxes. No post-production to tidy up afterwards. There are rough edges. They came along too.

There’s no separate demo for this one. You’re listening to it. It just happens to have been released.
